A Taste of the Syllabus

In this 4 weeks evening course, you will gain the skills and tools to kick-off your experience in coding the hands-on way. You will learn key terms in the world of development and the basics of coding. At the end of these 24 hours you will have your 1st working portfolio website.

Understand what is development, learn key terms such as front end, back end, static vs non-static websites, mobile vs desktop, and much more.

Learn the basics of HTML/ CSS

Learn to build a dynamic, front-end to your web application using a modern JavaScript libraries, and use HTML and CSS to layout and style your application. 

Learn the basics of JavaScript

Learn development foundation and the basics of writing code and building a website.

Jona learned to code because six years ago he wanted to make a Thing. That’s also why he writes things other than code, like words. He’s a big fan of words, in fact, and is also a long-time Lion King aficionado. That said, he does not like any food that is even remotely spicy. On the other hand, he does enjoy playing frisbee.

What is the course commitment?

4 weeks, twice a week between 18:00 to 21:00. A total of 24 hours.

Will I have to learn something before the course?

No need to learn anything before the workshop. all you need is an aspiration for learning.
