Tuition and what it includes?

The tuition is $2,500 and includes the full 5 days Digital Marketing Accelerator, accommodation at Selina’s Red Frog location in Panama for an entire week, co-work spaces available at all times (coffee included), internal transportation from the airport to Selina’s location and back.

What is included in the program?

This unique digital marketing accelerator will take place in Red Frog, Panama. You can leave all planning to us and only make sure to book your international flight to Panama (Roundtrip). We already took care of everything else.

Our basic package includes accommodation at Red Frog Selina’s locations, Co-work space booked for us throughout the entire time (coffee included), and transportation between airport to Selina’s location and back. Where will the coding bootcamp take place?

The coding bootcamp will take place in 3 gorgeous locations across Mexico: Mexico City, Puerto Escondido, and Playa del Carmen.

We’ll be spending our first 5 weeks at Selina’s Mexico City location. From there we’ll hop to Selina’s Puerto Escondido for 3 weeks, and finish at Selina’s Playa del Carmen, for the last 4 weeks of the coding bootcamp.

Who will I be sitting next to in class?

Students come to Elevation Academy from a breadth of backgrounds – everything from creative writing and design to engineering and information technology. Although the majority of students have college degrees, we do not require any schooling beyond a high school degree.

What does a typical day look like?

Since our digital marketing accelerator is taking place in Red Frog, Panama, part of the idea is to enjoy what this amazing location has to offer. A typical day may start with a yoga class or a surf lesson. We’ll meet in class to begin our day full of interesting sessions and lots of practice. You will apply in real time everything learned on your personal project. Our digital marketing accelerator instructor will be there at all time to offer help and guidance at every step of the way.

What are the requirements?

There are no official prior requirements for this course. Admission includes request submission, marketing challenge and a phone interview.

Coding Bootcamp Mexico
Where will the coding bootcamp take place?

The coding bootcamp will take place in 3 gorgeous locations across Mexico: Mexico City, Puerto Escondido, and Playa del Carmen.

  • Write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that displays as intended in modern browsers
  • Develop a dynamic front-end to your application using a modern framework used to create single-page apps, such as Angular or React
  • Consume web APIs from third-party sites
  • Write secure applications and deploy them to cloud services like Heroku
  • Collaborate within a team using an agile development workflow and widely-accepted collaboration practices using Git

We teach Node, MongoDB and SQL. You will be able to build interactive websites from end-to-end (client, server, and DB). Most importantly, we provide you with the tools and skills to think like a developer and quickly pick up new languages and skills on your own.

You will also participate in hackathons, group projects and mentoring and a final project presentation.

Employers don’t just hire based on someone’s skills and qualifications, but also on their personality, work ethic and interpersonal skills. For this reason we accept students who are not only strong analytical thinkers, but also are passionate, humble and willing to work hard.

What is the course commitment?

The Elevation Academy Coding Bootcamp is 12 weeks long and full-time. Actual time spent on the course consists of class on Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm.
There is an additional ~20 hours of homework per week.

What does a typical day look like?

Since our coding bootcamp is taking place in Mexico, part of the idea is to enjoy what each location has to offer. A typical day may start with a yoga class or a surf lesson. We’ll then meet in class for an interactive lecture about a particular skill or topic. You will then read through the course curriculum with a partner and practice your newly learned skills by working on a coding project. Our Coding Bootcamp support team is there to offer help and guidance every step of the way.

What language is this course taught in?

English. It’s an international program, we’ll be meeting people from different places around the world.

What kind of jobs do Coding Bootcamp graduates get?

Coding Bootcampers excel in both small and large companies. The kinds of jobs graduates get vary, and can range from Junior Front-End and Back-End Web Developers to QA positions. It all depends on the needs of the organization and your desire and capabilities.

Can I really get a job as a junior developer after this program?

We can’t guarantee you a job, no one can. We provide all students with career development and placement assistance. The demand for web developers is always growing, and we do our best to prepare our students for careers as junior full-stack web developers.

What if I’m a beginner and can’t keep up with the pace?

Don’t worry! We have set up our bootcamp to ensure every student gets personalized attention and support. You’ll have our amazing Coding Bootcamp Instructor and TA available for you there at all time. Additionally, we’ll be working with a flexible syllabus, that will allow us to feel the class and adjust our lessons accordingly if needed, in real time. 

Will I have to learn something before the course?

Yes. Every student must complete the Pre-Work at least 1 week before the start date. Completing the pre-work is very important for preparing us to day 1 of the coding bootcamp. Lack of that pre-work might result in having a hard time mastering the course content and completing our coding bootcamp. If you’re having trouble with the pre-work or require extra help, we could offer free Pre-Work online meetups held from our Tel Aviv campus (In English).

Who is this course for?

This course is best suited for BA graduates who are not intimidated by numbers (Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Psychology, Business Administration, Science or other data related field) with 1-2 years of experience in the hi-tech industry (not a must).

This course is taught in Hebrew or English. However, as the startup industry often requires a working knowledge of English, all of the Hebrew course presentations are in English and students are expected to present their final projects in English.

What is the course commitment?

The course meets twice a week in the evening for 3 hours. Beyond the course you are required to invest approximately 3-4 hours of independent study at home.

What kind of jobs do Data Analytics graduates get?

The course provides a super extensive perspective into Data Analytics primarily from a product perspective. You will gain hands on experience with a variety of tools opening up greater employment opportunities as a junior data analyst or within your current role.

Will I have to learn something before the course?

Yes. Ahead of the course you are required to complete an online course in SQL and Python. Upon being accepted to the course we will send all the materials.

Product Management

It seems that everyone has an idea about the ‘next big thing’ but few people have the knowledge, skills and tools to bring a product to life. This is where Product Managers come into play.
Product managers are critical to organizations. As the focal points between business, design, and technology, they are uniquely positioned to assess whether a product makes business sense, is desired by users and is technologically feasible. Facebook Marketing
There are plenty of Facebook courses out there, what’s different in yours?

Elevation Academy created the first ever in person program with a certified syllabus by Facebook. There are indeed many courses out there, but none, other than this one, were written and directed by Facebook.

What if I don’t have any relevant background? Should I still apply?

Of course you should. That’s what applications are for, don’t worry.  It’s our responsibility to make sure that you are ready for any course you will attend. If it’s not right for you, we’ll let you know. We’re not shy about things like that.

I’m not looking for a job, should I still join the course?

Of course! This course will help you to be a great Facebook marketing professional. The course is relevant if you have your own startup to promote, or if you believe it will contribute your professional path towards finding your ideal job. We guarantee the professional level, updated knowledge and cutting edge tools.

I don’t really know a lot about online marketing at all, is it really something that can be taught?

We believe the skills can be taught, and made practical by continuously learning from the industry directly. Beyond learning, it does require a personal commitment and passion for learning that can put you in an advantage.

What if I don’t have any relevant background? Should I still apply?

The course does not require to necessarily have relevant background but it does require you to have a community, a desire to open or develop one, and the aptitude to become a great community manager.

Web Development 101
Why is this course relevant today?

Whether you’re looking to cross-over into a role that requires you to know basic programming or you’re looking to level up in your existing role, programming for non-programmers will give you programming foundation and the basics of writing codeIn 4 weeks you will get a strong basis of programming, understand how to navigate the world of tech, and get hands-on experience. 

What practical skill sets can I expect to have upon completion of the course?

In a 4 weeks course, you will learn the foundations of programming including:

Learn to build a dynamic, front-end to your web application using a modern JavaScript libraries.

Use HTML and CSS- to create layout and style your application.

Learn programming foundation and the basics of writing code and building a website.

Build your own 1st working portfolio website

What is the course commitment?

4 weeks, twice a week between 18:00 to 21:00. A total of 24 hours.

Will I have to learn something before the course?

No need to learn anything before the workshop. all you need is an aspiration for learning.
